Our goal is to provide transparent, useful information to help you make informed decisions about retreat programs. Verification is based on evidence from primary sources, not on payments or relationships with providers.

How Data Is Collected

We collect information about retreats and providers from:

  • Primary Sources: Provider websites, official documentation, public information
  • Automated Harvesting: We use automated tools to discover and classify sources from provider websites
  • Manual Verification: We verify key information (safety, pricing, dates) against primary sources
  • Community Reports: We accept corrections and additional information from users

How Corrections Are Handled

If you find incorrect information:

  1. Use the "Report correction" link on any listing page
  2. Provide the correct information and sources that confirm it
  3. We will review and update the listing if the correction is verified

We prioritize corrections that include verifiable sources (provider websites, official documentation).

What "Not Provided" Means

When we mark information as "Not provided" or "Unknown":

  • This does not mean the information doesn't exist
  • This does not mean it's safe or unsafe
  • This means the information is unknown to us

Always confirm critical information directly with the provider. Our directory is a starting point, not a substitute for direct communication.

Non-Commercial Stance

We do not:

  • Accept affiliate commissions or booking fees
  • Charge providers for listings
  • Prioritize listings based on payments
  • Include booking buttons or affiliate links

We provide links to provider websites for informational purposes only. All booking and inquiries go directly to providers.
